Handicraft Section
The handicraft section covers cookery, preserves, crafts, art and photography. Visitors to the show love to look at the wonderful handiwork of the very talented entrants. Likewise entrants love to share their hobby with a wider audience than their family and friends. Why not have a go at entering and share your talents – maybe you will be lucky and win a prize.
We have a junior section to encourage those who are 16 years and under to get involved and showcase their talent. It’s a great way to occupy youngsters in the school holidays.
Some classes are old favourites and we also try to be topical and up to date. Why not try baking the Healthy Eating Cake to the stated recipe, or baking a cake using at least two Fairtrade products. Try your hand at making a "a Bag for Life".
Photography is a popular pastime and there are several classes to spark your imagination - get out and about with your camera.
We look forward to receiving lots of entries. There will undoubtedly be a wonderful display on which the public can feast their eyes as the entrant’s share their creations both edible and non-edible with us all.
