Knitting Pattern for Class 56 - Slip Stitch Premature Baby Hat
Needles – 3.5mm and 3.75mm / size 10 and 9
Wool – approximately ˝ oz baby wool – two colours if desired
Using smaller needles cast on 64 stitches
Rows 1, 3, 5, 7: k1, p1 across
Rows 2, 4, 6, 8: p1, k1 across
Change to larger needles
Rows 9-14: work in stocking stitch – end with purl row
**Row 15: k1, sl1 across
**Row 16: p1, sl1 across (yarn at back)
**Row 17: k1 sl1 across
Row 18-20: work in stocking stitch
**Row 21: k1, sl1 across
