Always a popular attraction at the show. Boys will be boys and boys like their toys and it is as boys most car enthusiast start.

Alan McCormick section leader says he first got the bug at the age of 10. His first car a 1931 Standard 9 was bought for £30. Now a vintage man himself he can still be found tinkering in his garage on his 1934 Austin 7 Nippy.

Come and look at the old cars, wonder at how the manufactures had different ideas on what the customer wanted. We are situated in the bottom meadow and this year we will have a procession of vintage cars in the afternoon driving into the main ring.

Come down andtalk to the owners. They like talking about their cars almost as much as showing them. They will be pleased to chat about the cars and the social side of the old car world.
