 The 2011 Bingley Show was one of the Best Ever.
 The organisers of the event having been forced to change the day ,then changing the month from August to July to try not to clash with other local shows were concerned this may affect the gates.
Thankfully this did not happen. The gates were up and this was on a similar sunny day to 2010.
Nearly all the sections had improved gates and the Lancaster Bomber gave the event that final wow factor. As it flew just above the trees in Myrtle Park it made you proud to be British and proud of our town BINGLEY. 
As the show was such a success on a Saturday and the fact that the ban on using the Park on a Sunday still holds means the 2012 show will remain on a Saturday.

The new year has started and the organizers of the show turn their thoughts to next years event. All the animal sections will be back and that includes the rabbits. For some strange reason some people have been suggesting there will be no rabbits this year. This is not the case, thankfully the rabbits will line up with all the animals,details can be found under the page class results.

     EQUESTRIAN
In 2011 Show Jumping returned to Bingley show after an absence of 3 years, and what a success. There was crowds three deep at times around the main ring watching this major attraction. The show jumping started the show off in the early morning and closed the show after 6.00 p.m.
It was a joy to see people basking in the evening sun watching the equestrian events in our magnificent Myrtle Park.
The Shires back for the third consecutive year once again played their part in entertaining the crowds at the main ring in Bottom Meadow.
