TERMS
.

1. Tradestand sites are uncovered ground for tents, mobile units, agricultural implements, machinery, and all other trade exhibits.

2. Sites must be occupied by 8.45am on the day of the show. No admittance after 9.00 am.

3. Stand selling food and drink to the public are not acceptable as it contravenes our catering concession.

4. Raffles, tombolas and the use of speaking equipment is prohibited.

CONDITIONS

1. Space - Exhibitors must apply and pay for sufficient space to take all stays and guy-ropes for any exhibit, tent or marquee. Boundaries of all spaces will be clearly defined and bear the stand number. In no circumstances will exhibits or guy-ropes be allowed to encroach on land outside the exhibitor's site. Motor vehicles must be kept inside the trade stand space and not interfere with, nor cause inconvenience to other exhibitors/spectators by their presence.

2. Sub-letting. No exhibitor will be allowed to sub-let any portion of the space allocated to them.

3. Removal of Exhibits - All exhibits and stand equipment must be removed as soon as possible after the Show. The Exhibitor will be responsible for removing all waste material of whatever nature from the allocated site.

4. Indemnification - The Committee will exercise all reasonable care for comfort and safety of exhibits entrusted to them, but the Society will not be responsible for the entire or partial loss, non-staging or detention of, or damage to same, or to any person or property, whether arising from accident or other persons or from any other cause. Further it is a condition of entry that each Exhibitor will hold the Society blameless and will indemnify them against legal proceedings and also against compensation for damage arising out of, in consequence of, or in connection with any such accident, loss or damage and entries are accepted only on this distinct understanding.
Exhibitors must comply with the current Health and Safety Regulations.
Exhibitors are strongly advised to make overnight security arrangements to safeguard their property.

5. Right to Refuse - The Management reserves the right, at its uncontrolled discretion:
a) To refuse to accept any trade stand application without explanation.
b) To refuse admission of any persons to the precincts of the show.
c) To evict therefrom any person who does not comply with the conditions laid down by the Management of the Show, or causes any kind of disorder.

6. Electrical Energy - Generators are not permitted without reference to the Show Manager (07966 199994).
Generators must have earth rods and R.C.D. current breakers. No electricity is available.

7. Fire Safety - It is a condition that all exhibitors provide suitable fire-fighting equipment.

8. Running Water will be available on the site from day before show morning.

9. Compliance with our Health and Safety Requirements.


Setting up: The Show Ground is available for setting up from Friday afternoon, security is arranged during the nights prior to the Show, however it is the ultimate responsibility of the exhibitor to ensure the security of the site booked.

Official opening time: The Show is open to the public from 9:00 am and officially closes at 6:00 pm. Exhibitors are requested not to start packing up prior to the stated finishing time (other than inclement weather conditions).
